This was painted plein air at Purgatory Creek. What a day, beautiful breeze and sunny. I loved the way the creek was such a dark value against all of the Minnesota Green!!! June 9,2008 1:30 p.m.
Yes, and Reid is making a book I believed called "A Year in Purgatory" which will include his paintings of the park.
Did you go painting with Reid? Lucky you, I wish I could have gone, it was a beautiful day.

This is week #2 of the Baker Park Paintings. But, I have decided to make it one year of paintings of the area in which I live in. Maybe a year of weekly paintings of Medina, Minnesota. I loved the lone crab apple tree in full bloom! Painting was started at 6:30 pm on Saturday May 24,2008

I have decided to start working on my watercolors to keep my mind fresh! It has been a few years, but I'm having great fun. Painting in watercolors is backwards from oils which is a challenge!
Nice job Kris!
